At IASP Beijing, thoughtfully designed social events are set to bring delegates together, celebrating both our international innovation community and the rich cultural heritage of our host city.
Welcome Reception at the CNCC
The opening Welcome Reception took place at the Intercontinental Beijing Beichen hotel, nestled within Beijing’s Olympic green complex and just steps away from iconic landmarks such as the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Guests enjoyed a warm reception that brought delegates together, with opportunities to mingle and set the tone for the next days over refreshments and informal networking.
Informal dinner at the Great Wall
Delegates had the opportunity to step outside the main conference venue to embrace one of China’s most historic landmarks - The Great Wall. After first attending sessions hosted by Zhongguancun Changping Science Park, delegates separated to explore the innovation community first-hand via the technical tours, seeing cutting edge technologies in person. From here the conference moved to the breathtaking location of the Great Wall, where delegates were This experience set the tone combining the cultural immersion with networking. Attendees enjoyed a magical evening strolling through the wall and later a nice dinner with unbelievable views.
Gala Dinner: Innovation Meets Heritage
The culminating Gala Dinner celebrated both innovation and heritage in a beautiful setting. An evening featuring Beijing’s culinary traditions, alongside performances inspired by Chinese art forms. Attendees were treated to moments of recognition and celebration, with awards, formal welcomes to new IASP members, and creative highlights of the conference theme.
