IASP is pleased to announce that the 2025 IASP North American regional conference will be hosted by Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole, following a call for expressions of interest.

Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole, an IASP member since 1994, is dedicated to the economic development of the greater Saint-Hyacinthe region in Quebec, Canada. It manages and develops the City of Agri-Food Innovation, a science park focused on agri-food and animal health technologies.

The park covers nearly 40 million square feet and includes over 150 research, higher education and technology transfer institutions and industries specialising in agri-food. It employs over 3,000 people in this sector and has a pool of over 200 world-class researchers. Aiming to create jobs, attract talent and investments and promote innovation, Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole is a key player in its region's economic growth.

IASP CEO, Ebba Lund, said: "We are delighted that Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole will host the 2025 IASP North American conference. This event will be the perfect chance for Saint-Hyacinthe to showcase its latest developments, highlighting its vital role in regional economic development. For a global network like ours, regional division activities are essential for fostering quality networking and strengthening regional connections. This conference will exemplify our dynamic ecosystem, promoting local innovation and growth while facilitating valuable exchanges among international science parks, areas of innovation and other innovation spaces".

“We will be very proud to welcome our North American colleagues to Saint-Hyacinthe in 2025. By entrusting us with this event, the IASP recognises Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole’s importance as one of its oldest members, but also the scope and international influence of our agri-food ecosystem. We will of course take advantage of the visitors’ presence to highlight our model and the successes of our City of Agri-Food Innovation technology park, which we hope will soon be designated an area of innovation,” said Karine Guilbault, CEO, Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole.

The 2025 IASP North American conference will take place on 28-30 May 2025. Discover more about Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole in this video.
