ASBU Sociocity Technopolis 

ASBÜ Sosyokent is a “technology development zone” based at Ankara Social Sciences University (ASBÜ). It is Turkey’s first  zone specialised in social innovation and social entrepreneurship, combining social sciences + innovation + business. 

Sosyokent occupies a built-up area of around 8,000 m² on ASBÜ’s main campus and spans 40 companies. The project began operations in 2022 and includes shared labs, research infrastructure, support offices and incubation facilities to help entrepreneurs and startups develop and commercialise social-innovation projects.  

It aims to support social innovation across many areas: public services digitisation, e-health and biotech, smart-city & environmental tech, education/learning technologies, information & communication technologies, and social-policy technologies. 

We look forward to collaborating and introducing ASBU Sociocity to our members.
