Polo Tecnológico Rosario - Argentina
Polo Tecnológico Rosario (PTR) is a technology and innovation ecosystem located in Rosario, Argentina. It was established as a public-private initiative to accelerate innovation through partnerships across academic research, industry and public sector.
The park is mainly active in software, telecommunications, biotechnology, bioengineering and engineering sectors.
Parque Tecnológico e Científico da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco - Brazil
Parque Tecnológico e Científico da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (Parque TeC UFPE) is the science and technology park of the Federal University of Pernambuco, located in Recife, Brazil. The park acts as a key component of the university's innovation ecosystem, equipped with advanced supercomputing facilities to support high-performance research alongside a network of incubators nurturing early-stage ventures.
With a total area of 72,704 m², the park hosts 11 resident companies and includes one incubator that supports 26 incubated startups and projects. The park also hosts a supercomputing system that supports advanced academic research involving high-performance computational simulation.
McMaster Innovation Park – Canada
McMaster Innovation Park is a research and innovation park located in Canada and affiliated with McMaster University. Within its 54-acres site, it is home to around 80 resident companies, ranging from startups to established firms. It also includes 4 incubators, which provide support for early-stage ventures through mentoring, workspace, and business development services.
Sardegna Ricerche - Italy
Sardegna Ricerche is the regional development agency running the Sardinia Technology Park, in Italy. The park covers approximately 160 hectares and operates across multiple sites with its main campus in Pula. It focuses on sectors such as ICT, biotechnology, life sciences, renewable energy, and advanced materials.
It provides comprehensive support services including training and market access programmes that help SMEs grow and access national and international markets.
Parc Científic de Barcelona – Spain
Parc Científic de Barcelona is located in Spain and closely linked to the University of Barcelona. It was created to promote collaboration with a strong focus on life sciences and knowledge-intensive industries.
With a total surface area of approximately 107,000 m², it hosts around 110 resident companies specialised in biotechnology, biomedicine, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, health technologies and advances scientific research.
