Kaunas Science and Technology Park
Formed from the re-organisation of the first ever Lithuanian business incubator in 1998, Kaunas Science and Technology Park was inaugrated in late December 2006. It is a technology park located in Kaunas, Lithuania. The role Kaunas STP is to promote cooperation between science and business. Its main objective is to provide businesses with an opportunity to enjoy the deliverables of research and development created at the Valley and increase the proportion of business investment therein.
Kaunas Science and Technology Park aims to become a magnet for knowledge-intensive tech businesses of national significance, a leader in development and a strategic partner to members of the innovation ecosystem within the Baltic Sea Region and Europe. Kaunas STP is a component of the innovation ecosystem of Kaunas and looks to increase the competitiveness of tech businesses globally by providing the highest level innovation support services, making efficient use of the resources of innovation ecosystem, developing the community of innovative businesses and fostering innovation culture within Kaunas region.
