HBL CEO visits NUST & NSTP to explore collaborative innovation pathways

The Rector of NUST (National University of Science and Technology), Dr Muhammad Zahid Latif, welcomed a distinguished delegation from leading bank in Pakistan, HBL, headed by its President & CEO, Mr. Nassir Salim which marked for them a new milestone in academia–industry collaboration.

At National Science & Technology Park (NSTP), the visiting delegation was received by Engineer Amer Sheikh, Director NSTP, where they met several startup founders and explored innovative solutions in Agritech, Fintech, and Artificial Intelligence, identifying potential avenues for joint projects.

With NUST’s multidisciplinary strength across more than 20 institutions, both sides reaffirmed their longstanding partnership and expressed a shared commitment to transform it into a strategic collaboration that addresses Pakistan’s technological, social and human capital challenges.
