1.If you had to describe ZGC group in one sentence, what would you say?

ZGC Group is an integrated technology and innovation service platform founded by Beijing Municipal Government, engaging in building a international top-tier integrated innovation ecosystem service provider. As the key overseas subsidiary of ZGC Group, ZGC International Holding Limited serves as a platform for international innovation cooperation, connecting overseas innovation institutions and elements, providing integrated services to global innovation entrepreneurs and SMEs.

2.What does it mean for your organisation to be part of this international network, IASP?

As a member of IASP which is a vital global platform for tech innovation and collaboration, we could better integrate into the global innovation network, engaging with more innovation hubs and science park operators, discussing global tech trends, sharing insights on science park management and innovation incubation, and strengthening communication and cooperation among global technology parks. On this platform, we hope to cooperate with IASP members to assist  enterprises in innovation hubs and tech parks expanding Chinese market, by means of capital, technology, science parks, industrial resources, and innovation incubating, etc. Additionally, we would like to work with IASP members to support Chinese companies going in their global expansion.

3.The theme of this year’s conference is Elevating Excellence – Innovation spaces driving high quality development. How has ZGC Group evolved its approach to creating an environment that drives high-quality development?

"Let Innovation Grow" is the mission of ZGC group, and "Centered on innovation and entrepreneurship, with a focus on the hardworking individuals, uphold integrity and simplicity, and strive for excellence" is the group’s core value. To identify and nurture high-potential enterprises, we focus on the entire innovation life-cycle from achievement transformation to industrial application. We’ve built a comprehensive service ecosystem in terms of equity investment, fin-tech service, tech consulting, generic technology platform, IP services, forum & exhibition, industrial rooms, international network, promoting high efficiency for the process of “Idea-IP-Industry-IPO” and fastening the growth for enterprises. 4.What are you looking forward to most at IASP Beijing?

We hope to have in-depth discussions with IASP members on critical topics such as “How innovation clusters can transcend geographic and institutional barriers”. We are also excited to learn real-world cases in terms of urban regeneration, smart city development, and open innovation ecosystem building. Beyond knowledge sharing, we hope to create partnerships with science parks and innovation districts around the world, and work together towards a more inclusive, open, and efficient global tech innovation ecosystem.

5.In your opinion, what makes IASP World Conferences special?

The IASP World Conference stands out as a truly global dialogue among innovation practitioners, which brings together 350 science and technology park leaders from 77 countries, attempting to solve common challenges. For instance, innovative space infrastructure, low-carbon transformation path. What’s more, on-site visits and closed workshops turn creative thinking into practical applications. The hands-on exchange is the very essence of driving the development of global tech hubs.
