BizMaker AB (Sweden)

BizMaker was founded in 2004 with the goal of supporting local sustainable growth and innovation. Through a constant collaboration with experts and corporate partners the Swedish incubator has designed a unique programme to aid startups and established organisations to reach their full development potential, simultaneously creating a space where good ideas grow into global and sustainable solutions.

BizMaker offers test environments, technology platforms and industry specific knowledge to their incubates, calling all “entrepreneurs, innovators and makers” to join their network. Their current business development programmes include a business incubator, a business growth programme, a green forest accelerator, and youth mentoring business programmes.

Dammam Valley (Saudi Arabia)

Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University founded Dammam Valley in 2001 in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. Aspiring to grow into a global leader in health and biotechnology innovation, the science park is currently considered the country’s main hub for evaluating and incubating biotech innovation.

They have designed a set of programmes that supports the sustainable economic development and simultaneously empowers the growth of start-ups and smaller projects through partnerships and investors. The incubator currently focuses on medical, industrial, agricultural and IT industries, and looks for business that match their core values: transparency, authenticity, and sustainability.

Leaguer Lishui Accelerator (China)

The Foshan Talent Group and Lishui Government got together to build the Leaguer Lishui Accelerator inside the Leaguer Foshan Science Park. The accelerator is located in the core district of a hi-tech zone, and is tightly knit with the park’s incubator, getting involved with start-ups once they “graduate” from their incubation.

The accelerator plays a leading role in the development of strategic emerging industries in Guangdong, with the mission to boost the local R&D scene by providing startups with R&D labs, workshops, and heavy equipment manufacturing sites.

Sun Yat-Sen University Science Park(China)

Sun Yat-Sen University Science Park is a science park and incubator located in Guangzhou (China). The industries they operate in correspond directly to the disciplines offered in the university in which they are located, where they combine scientific and educational resources with entrepreneurial elements to create well-rounded students specialising in the university.

The science park currently focuses on creating an ecosystem which integrates innovation resources, transforms scientific and technological achievements, cultivates innovative talents, and opening collaboration, among other things. They have recently opened a “maker space-incubator-accelerator”, where startups and smaller business can go for multi-level entrepreneurship incubation services.
