High Tech Campus Eindhoven has the ambition to be amongst the leading tech hubs worldwide in 2030” says Otto van den Boogaard, CEO of High Tech Campus Eindhoven.

3EALITY is High Tech Campus Eindhoven’s vision for the future: the “3” represents their three-dimensional vision of the future, and the evolution of technology and the internet where digital and physical are intertwined. This project is a further step towards their mission of becoming the most sustainable campus in Europe while being the smartest square kilometre.

The hub, expected to open in February 2024, will offer office spaces and collaboration facilities. Van den Boogaard also commented on the impact 3EALITY will have on the campus, observing that “this hub adds a software layer to the strong hardware layer of the campus”, and that it was “a crucial step in achieving [their] ambition”.

3EALITY will be the park’s fifth innovation hub within the campus and will be built on what originally was a Philips Research building. Focusing on Virtual-Reality and Augmented-Reality technology, the hub welcomes partners who work on spatial computing and Metaverse-enabling applications to join their vibrant community, allowing the park to thrive in an industry expected to exceed the one trillion market size before 2030.

During the Immersive Tech Day, High Tech Campus Eindhoven showcased innovations from demo partners, including industry giants such as Nvidia, Epic Games, Leia Inc., and Philips. These demo sessions allowed attendees to see the impact immersive technologies are having on healthcare, education, entertainment, and more.
