Transfiere Forum: Alliance of Innovation Ecosystem Working Towards Sustainability and its Contribution to the SDGs

Transfiere, European Meeting on Science, Technology,and Innovation, is the main R&D meeting in Southern Europe to sharescientific and technological knowledge, promote innovation and connect scienceand business. Held annually at FYCMA (Trade Fairs and Congress Center ofMálaga), a trade fair and congress center committed to achieve the SustainableDevelopment Goals (SDGs) enacted by the United Nations in the 2030 Agenda, thisevent has been consolidated after eleven years as the meeting point of theSpanish innovative ecosystem for its ability to share thescientific-technological knowledge´s supply and demand.

 The support and involvement of the localtechnology park Málaga TechPark, as well as networks of scientific andtechnological parks at national and international level from the first editionof the Forum has been fundamental in boosting knowledge transfer, fosteringthat way an improvement in the competitiveness of national innovation systems.The innovation ecosystem works together and in the same direction to strengthenits scientific and technological capacity in the common advance towards moresustainable forms of consumption and production.

 Inthis context, the Forum aims to assemble large corporations, companies in thegrowth phase, researchers, and public administration in the same place to helpthem cooperate hand by hand and analyze and reflect on the current situation inpursuit of new initiatives for a better future.
