Parque Científico Tecnológico de La Habana (3CE)

The Havana Science and Technology Park (3CE), is a foundational idea of the University of Informatics Sciences. This pioneering initiative bridges academia and industry, serving as a catalyst for innovation and economic growth in the country.

One of the park's primary goals is to strengthen Cuba's economy by creating a dynamic environment within its innovation ecosystem, for the development of its various stakeholders, thereby promoting collaboration between the academic, business, government and social sectors. 3CE provides tailored benefits and incentives for the incubation of technology-based start-ups and also for research, development and innovation (R&D&I) projects. These projects can evolve into new companies as they mature. With a portfolio of more than 380 clients, including eighteen from abroad, the park has incubated more than one hundred innovative projects and thirty-one new technology-based companies since its foundation.

The Park's global engagement is underscored by its membership in prominent organizations such as the Ibero-American Network of Science and Technology Parks, and the AI Alliance Network of BRICS+ countries. Additionally, it has signed 25 agreements with research centers, universities, companies, and peer organizations worldwide.

On February 4th, 2025, the park celebrated its fifth anniversary with a commemorative event attended by Cuba's Ministers of Higher Education, Communications, and Science, Technology and Environment.      The occasion highlighted both the Park's achievements and its commitment to Cuba's technological future.

 The Park aims to be an example of how innovation and collaboration can drive progress and digital transformation, as well as a pillar of national development and an international benchmark in science and technology.
