Parque Científico y Tecnológico de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo
Located on the campus of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo, the Parque Científico y Tecnológico Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (PCyT-UAEH) spans 77,000 m², dedicating 4,900 m² to innovation and technology development.
Since its 2014 inception, PCyT-UAEH has focused on leveraging research to meet societal needs, with activities in biotechnology, hydrology, chemical industries, energy, environmental protection, materials science, and research.
PCyT-UAEH brings together the university, businesses, and government to foster a collaborative innovation ecosystem. Its mission is to enhance scientific research and technological development alongside the productive and social sectors. The park aims to create technology-based companies, manage innovation projects, and provide necessary resources while adhering to intellectual property laws.
This collaborative effort aims to identify, adapt, and transfer technology, creating a dynamic environment that merges diverse experiences, skills, and technological capabilities. PCyT-UAEH commits to technology commercialisation through strategies in innovation management, legal support, marketing, and financing.
A critical strategy element is the Technological Observatory of the State of Hidalgo, which undertakes technological monitoring and competitive intelligence. PCyT-UAEH offers services like technology transfer contracts, collaborative R&D projects, spin-offs, patenting, and utility models to support regional companies' growth and innovation, establishing strong links with investors and promoting a culture of technological advancement.
