In a significant achievement within the realm of innovation and entrepreneurship, IASP member Biopark, now has Cerne level 2 recognition. This is an accreditation by the Reference Center for Support to New Enterprises (Cerne), an initiative of the National Association of Entities Promoting Innovative Enterprises (ANPROTEC) in partnership with the Micro Support Service and Small Companies (SEBRAE).

Cerne, a dedicated platform aimed at enhancing incubator performance across various sectors, establishes best practices associated with maturity levels, progressing from Cerne 1 to Core 4. Each level signifies a step forward in continuous improvement for the incubator, reflecting its commitment to excellence and fostering successful ventures.

Overseen by Daniela Reis and Débora Nesello, the Biopark Incubation Program's achievement of Cerne 2 certification underscores the institution's dedication to delivering key results.

The certification brings with it advantages for both Biopark and the companies incubated within its programs. These benefits include a reduction in process variability, an increase in both project quantity and quality, and a boost in the overall success rate of ventures supported by the incubator. Beyond this, the certification also opens avenues for Biopark's participation in promotional opportunities and applications exclusive to certified incubators. This strengthens Biopark's position within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, creating a positive effect for the innovation community it serves.
