IASP reinforces global links at ANPROTEC conference in Brazil

The 35th edition of the ANPROTEC Conference 2025 took place in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, from October 13-16, 2025 under the theme “Collaborative Ecosystems Integrated with Global Innovation“. Organized by the Brazilian Association of Science Parks and Business Incubators ANPROTEC in partnership with SEBRAE, the event brought together technology parks, incubators, accelerators and innovation ecosystem actors from across Brazil and internationally. 

IASP was also present at the conference, represented by its President Salvatore Majorana (Kilometro Rosso, Italy), who joined a panel on “Collaborative ecosystems and global innovation: scenarios and challenges”, together with the President of our Latin American Division and President of ANPROTEC Adriana Ferreira de Faria. The session explored how collaboration boundaries are expanding and the interdependence of technologies in a globalised world is consolidating, as well as the role of open and collaborative innovation in sustainable development.

His involvement highlighted IASP’s role in global networks of innovation spaces and reiterated the importance of linking local ecosystem initiatives with international platforms, emphasising that the future of innovation depends not only on national capacity but also on transnational collaboration, shared governance models, and cross-border knowledge flows.

The programme featured multiple themes tied to the main topic: digital transformation, open innovation, governance and finance of innovation environments, inclusive participation (such as “Women Without Borders: Leading Collaborative Innovation for a More Connected World”), and territorial ecosystem development.
