Le Poool’s Imagine Summit: virtuous innovation and creative endeavours

The past 7th December IASP member Le Poool (French Tech Rennes St Malo) held their Imagine Summit - previously known as the Digital Tech Conference - at the Couvent des Jacobins in Rennes (France). Entrepreneurs, researchers, public, cultural and community key players, as well as students came together to find inspiration, network and talk about virtuous innovation.

The 8th edition of the French Tech Renner St-Malo’s flagship event attracted over 1,300 people, who were able to explore a demo-area with 52 start-ups from a variety of fields, to experiment and learn more on their innovations. The summit was an opportunity for local startups to interact with both the community that will benefit from their innovations, and investors – both discovering the human-side of technology. Over the course of the day, 50 speakers shared over 18 hours of content that delegates could pick and choose from, tailoring their experience to their unique needs.

During the Imagine Summit, Le Poool also held an awards ceremony to recognise new and innovative ideas. The night included live music and dinner where attendees could continue networking and disconnect after an intense day of learning.

Le Poool has described their Imagine Summit as an opportunity to take a step back and understand what is at stake in these developments, allowing entrepreneurs, researchers, the local community and consumers to better define the role they want to play in our shared journey towards virtuous innovation.
