Knowledge Share 2.0, a new digital matchmaking platform enabling businesses, investors, and innovators to collaborate on developing innovative products and services, was launched on January 23 at the CNR - National Research Council headquarters in Rome.

At the official launch event to present the platform to the general public, there was a special focus on the section for university spinoffs, research centres, and scientific institutes for research and healthcare, crucial elements in today's innovation landscape. It also featured success stories and financing instruments for startups and spin-offs entering the innovation market.

The event brought together participants from various sectors, including business, investments, institutions, and public research. IASP, one of the supporters of the launch event, was represented by International Vice President Salvatore Majorana, CEO of Kilometro Rosso.

Vice Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Valentino Valentini, participated in the launch event emphasising the pivotal role of Knowledge Share 2.0 in Italy's innovation and technological transfer landscape, a cornerstone of the "Made in Italy" strength. "Innovation is fundamental for the competitive development of companies, and it’s one of the main items on the government's political agenda" he remarked, highlighting the need to integrate research results into valorisation processes for market readiness.

The day concluded with networking opportunities including B2B meetings, reinforcing Knowledge Share 2.0 as a key tool connecting research with the practical needs of businesses, supporting growth and innovation in Italy.
