The tractor-mining project Efarm.pro, participant of IASP member Ukrainian Future's Business Incubation Program, is now is preparing for certification and mass production. The Business Incubation Program is implemented with the support of GIST, VentureWell, and the NGO Brainy Education.

The mine-clearing machine was developed by residents of the innovation bootcamp and is built on the chassis of the T-156 tractor equipped with an unmanned control system. The machine can demine a territory along a predefined trajectory with incredible precision, thanks to agriculture technology.

This machine's capacity is the same as those provided by the European Union and can clear up to 5,000 m2 per hour with just 2cm between demining lanes. All components used in this machine are entirely of Ukrainian origin which not only supports Ukrainian manufacturers but also creates jobs and supports the national ecomomy as well as allowing for easy machine repairs in practically any city. Currently, the machine is undergoing certification preparation and it will soon be ready for serial production.

Yulia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, highlighted that they aim to create an efficient demining market, commenting that "the fact that this is already the third Ukrainian demining machine in practically half a year is evidence that businesses are interested in developing this sphere."

More is under way to bolster research and the MinesEye project, led by the charitable foundation Postup Foundation, has received support from the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme (SPS). This project aims to develop a system for detecting and identifying unexploded mines and ordnance in Ukraine.
