UFRJ Technology Park expands international collaboration through partnership with Chinese university

UFRJ Technology Park (Brazil) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the China University of Petroleum (East China), strengthening ties between the Brazilian and Chinese innovation ecosystems.

Signed during an institutional mission to Qingdao, China, the MoU will support joint initiatives in research, innovation, entrepreneurship and knowledge exchange, creating new opportunities for collaboration between researchers, companies and institutions in both countries. The agreement also aims to facilitate closer links between academia and industry, encouraging the development of joint projects and strengthening international innovation networks.The agreement forms part of UFRJ Technology Park's broader internationalisation strategy to strengthen global partnerships. Alongside its growing network of collaborations in China, the park is preparing to sign its first cooperation agreement in Latin America with fellow IASP member Fundación Ciudad del Saber in Panama, further expanding opportunities for international collaboration across the global innovation community.
