From 12th - 16th of June, the city of Malaga will welcome educators from different European countries for training activities within the framework of the B-Skills project, which aims to support educators and adult learners with teaching and supporting materials for the achievement of basic digital skills related to Blockchain technology.

Blockchain technology has emerged as a transformative tool in a variety of sectors and education is no exception. Recognising its potential to drive educational innovation, this meeting will bring together educators from different European countries, fostering the exchange of knowledge and best practices.

During the five-day course, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a comprehensive programme that will address the fundamentals of blockchain, as well as its practical application in education. Successful case studies will be explored, implementation strategies will be discussed, and the ethical and security implications related to this technology will be analysed. A must see visit to the renowned Digital Enterprise Show will be organized as well.

The choice of Malaga as the venue for this European activity highlights the commitment of Málaga TechPark and the University of Málaga to innovation and education. Malaga TechPark, a technological ecosystem of reference in Europe, and the University of Málaga, which promotes outstanding research and teaching within the European Higher Education Area, will indeed provide the ideal environment for the development of this course, providing participants with an environment conducive to learning and collaboration.

The meeting promises to be an enriching experience for both the participating educators and the educational community at large. It is hoped that the knowledge gained during this course will translate into an increased ability to integrate blockchain technology into adult learning programmes, thus enriching the educational experience and preparing students for the challenges of the digital world.

With the holding of this event, Malaga is once again consolidating its position as a benchmark in the promotion of educational innovation and positioning itself as a key destination for the exchange of knowledge in the field of blockchain technology.
