This paper examines the innovative opportunities and social challenges that have arisen from the rapid development of generative artificial intelligence technology, emphasizing the importance of fostering responsible AI. As AI technology advances, issues such as data security, privacy protection, model bias, and copyright concerns are becoming increasingly acute. To construct a system embodying responsible AI, the author presents five core principles: transparency and explainability, reliability and safety, privacy protection and data security, fairness and non-discrimination, as well as social welfare and sustainable development. The paper further analyses the vital roles played by models, data, and computational power in driving the evolution of responsible AI. Moreover, the paper also discusses the applications and value of blockchain technology in the field of generative artificial intelligence.
