Exploring the Role and Impact of Science Parks in Promoting Urban Development: A Case Study of Beijing Satellite Manufacturing Factory Science Park and ZGC Haidian Bio-Intelligent Innovation Park 

Science parks, as urban industrial clusters, have made outstanding contributions to the sustainable development of urban economy, the advancement of scientific and technological innovation, and the upgrading of industrial structure. This paper conducts in-depth research on the impact factors of science parks on urban development through a case study of Beijing Satellite Manufacturing Factory Science Park and ZGC Haidian Bio-Intelligent Innovation Park（SectionA/B）.  

The study shows that science parks have a positive impact on urban development by promoting employment and talent aggregation, updating urban layout, driving industrial upgrading, fostering scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation, and supporting sustainable development. Furthermore, the preservation and reuse of industrial heritage is a key topic in urban renewal and cultural succession. The specialized operation of science parks not only helps protect and promote industrial cultural heritage but also facilitates the upgrading of industrial structure and drives urban development.
