Innovation For Enriching Environment With Focus On Circular Economy And Sustainability

In collaboration led by Landvetter Södra Utveckling AB - Area of Innovation, a sustainable city is being developed from scratch in quadruple helix. Residents, politics, the public sector, academy, business, both large and small companies are involved. The project strives towards an urban city, which provides long-term value and sustainability, for both its inhabitants, and the planet. To succeed, the partnership has taken a holistic approach where both hard and soft sustainability factors are considered and managed. Design and dialog aspects are central in the process to develop a holistic urban environment including mobility, energy, circularity, and other solutions. This paper highlights Landvetter Södra's structured innovation model "innovation square", a test bed, for circular economy and sustainability.
