2024: around the world with IASP events

IASP events bring the opportunity of travelling the world, meeting other IASP members worldwide and learning from peer’s best practices. Our events in 2024 will take us all around the globe, from Brazil, to the UK and Canada before our global gathering in Kenya!

Starting off the year with regional events

From 18-20 March 2024 our colleagues at Tecnopuc (Brazil) will be welcoming us to the IASP Latin American Division event in Porto Alegre: our regional event takes place immediately before South Summit Brazil, and our delegates will have the opportunity to catch two birds with a stone and join both events, doubling their opportunity to discuss the importance of alliances for innovation, as well as learning from worldwide experts, disruptive startups, and connecting with international investors.

From Brazil we fly all the way to Glasgow (UK) where the Glasgow City Innovation District will be hosting the IASP European Division event from 24-26 April 2024. This event brings the opportunity of discovering Scotland’s most cosmopolitan city and its scientific history, as well as learning all about Glasgow City Innovation District, a hub for innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship in the core of the city.

And keep an eye on the IASP North American Division, as May will bring us to Hamilton, Canada, to visit our colleagues at McMaster Innovation Park. A place for connection and collaboration, tightly knit with McMaster University, perfectly bridging research and industry: MIP has created an ecosystem that requires diversity to drive innovation and venture success. Learn about their key factors to success and take this opportunity to discuss the power an pain of clustering.

Meet our global community in Kenya

IASP regional events are the perfect chance to travel, learn about other innovation communities and network with peers in smaller groups, while warming up the engines for our global events: IASP Nairobi awaits the IASP innovation community, with our host Konza Technopolis looking forward to receiving you all from 24-27 September 2024 to discuss "Demographics, entrepreneurship and technology - Defining the frontiers of future economics". Exciting activities are already in store for those who'll join us, and the Call for Contributions is currently open: don't miss your chance to submit a paper by February 21st and address our global audience!
