IASP's new international board

The IASP General Assembly that took place in Beijing's World Conference 2025, brought the international board of IASP new faces.
During the Assembly, the election of a new President and Board was ratified. Outgoing IASP President Lena Miranda, CEO of Linköping Science Park (Sweden), handed over the presidency to her succesor, Salvatore Majorana, CEO of Kilometro Rosso (Italy). Lena began her term in 2023 and formally handed her presidential medal to Salvatore during the Closing Ceremony on September 18 2025.
Alongside his role in IASP and leading Kilometro Rosso, Mr Majorana is a trained engineer with solid experience in patent portfolio management, IP licensing and tech-based start-up creation. He begins his term as IASP President following two years as Vice President. He will now lead the IASP International Board, which is made up of 15 members from 15 different countries and which meets twice a year.
Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, CEO of IKP (India), was approved by the IASP General Assembly as Vice President of IASP and Tom Bentley, Melbourne Innovation Districts (Australia), also joins the Executive Board as Treasurer of IASP, taking over from outgoing Treasurer Jorge Audy, Superintendent for Innovation and Development PUCRS and TECNOPUC (Brazil).
New members of the International Board of Directors were also elected during the IASP General Assembly. The new Directors are: Diego De Biasio, CEO, Technoport (Luxembourg) and Ezequiel Mesquita, Executive Director, Buenos Aires Innovation Park (Argentina).
In addition, the IASP Beijing Conference also marked the start of the terms for Agnes von Matuschka, CEO of Potsdam Science Park (Germany), as IASP European Division President (taking over from Jernej Pintar, CEO of Technology Park Ljubljana, Slovenia) and Hao Tang (China), as IASP Asia Pacific Division President (taking over from Tom Bentley, Melbourne Innovation Districts, Australia).
