Description:
The development of innovation environments and technological parks has helped to promote major transformations of contemporary organizational thinking. In these places, the entrepreneurship and innovation carries together agents and foster new forms of work. Of the great revolutions of organizational thought, two are under analysis in this article. The goals are argue if the lean thinking, which is based on the Toyota production method, and the fourth industrial revolution (industry 4.0) can exist simultaneously in innovation environments. The conclusion based on the transfer of knowledge, search for the use of technology and a look at the importance of people, is that the innovation environments with greater investment power can stimulate the interact of both philosophies and be succeed in developing products and processes for the future of organizations.
