Description:
Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone, commonly called AMTZ, is a green zone that has more than 100,000 trees and plants. This campus's green and carbon-efficient features are possible due to the integrated systems that work in tandem. The campus has a solar panel grid; therefore, most of the buildings are carbon neutral. The energy produced by these solar panels is then used in powering the AMTZ’s in-house RO treatment system, which supplies drinking water to the entire campus. The water waste is then treated in the sewage treatment plant, and the recovered water is used in irrigating plants and toilet flushes. The campus also has a rainwater harvesting pond, which allows us to make better use of the freshwater we get during the monsoon season. The freshwater collected by rainwater harvesting is subsequently used for a variety of purposes
