Kodifly’s ScaleX Journey: Taking Flight from NSTP to ScaleX

Kodifly, a resident startup of the National Science & Technology Park (NSTP), has marked another milestone in its growth journey with its selection for Saudi Arabia’s flagship accelerator program, ScaleX. Specializing in spatial intelligence and digital twin technology, Kodifly has been building its base at NSTP and is now taking its solutions to one of the fastest-evolving markets under Saudi Vision 2030.

Run by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), ScaleX is regarded as one of the most competitive soft-landing accelerators in the region. This year, the program received more than 560 applications from across the world, out of which only 11 startups were selected. With less than a two percent acceptance rate, Kodifly’s inclusion reflects both the maturity of its technology and the strength of Pakistan’s emerging innovation ecosystem.

The program is designed to help international startups enter the Saudi market through a phased approach. After completing the online readiness bootcamp earlier this year, Kodifly’s core team is now in Riyadh for the Touchdown Phase. Over the coming weeks, they will be engaging in workshops, investor sessions, regulatory incorporation, and market development activities, all supported by KAUST’s innovation network. This will also allow Kodifly to align its solutions with Saudi Arabia’s ambitious urban development and infrastructure projects.

Kodifly’s journey is closely tied to its foundation at NSTP and the research ecosystem of NUST. The support and collaborations it has built locally have helped strengthen its global competitiveness. Now, as part of ScaleX, the company is not only representing itself but also highlighting the capabilities of Pakistan’s deep-tech startups on an international stage.

For NSTP and NUST, this is a moment of pride. Kodifly’s selection shows how startups nurtured in Islamabad’s innovation ecosystem can stand shoulder to shoulder with leading international ventures.
